America’s Chefs : Great Lakes 100yr Anniversary July 2011.Great Lakes first annual Back Yard BBQ Event! Naperville RIBFEST!
We were invited back to Great Lakes Naval Station to cook up some goodies for our fine Men and Women in the US Navy! STRETCH, Gorilla, Hodad, Myself and some new requits headded out just North of Chicago to do the usual dammage. We stopped in Naperville,IL on the way to participate in thier RIBFEST! 3 days of Deoms and cooking for huge crowds! Great music too! Great Lakes was crazy! Close to 30,000 meals cooked in one day!
Supper On the Sand

Panini Pete participated in Supper On the Sand, a 500-seat dinner event hosted by Guy Fieri in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The event was to mark the anniversary of the Deepwater Horizon explosion which sent 200 million gallons of oil into the Gulf of Mexico in 2010. The event was a way to give support to local tourism and the fresh, local cuisine on Alabama’s Gulf Coast.

America’s Chefs going to help celebrate the centennial of this incredible naval station. Gonna be a huge party.

My first trip to Augusta. Was amazing! Caught a practice round and got to cook for some great friends, including PGA Pro Brandt Snedeker. Going back for the whole week next year.

Late 2010 was awesome! Traveling with Stretch, Gorilla, and Hodad is an experience in itself. Fed US Navy Sailors stationed in Ocean Beach Virginia (Seal Team 6 herd!), on to GITMO to feed Marines and US Navy Sailors, and hit the Coast Guard in San Juan Puerto Rico, to name just a few.
